A few characters have stuns and ice moves of sorts, but alchemist Xavier changes things up by doing some gold transformation stuns (lasting a long and fairly impressive 4 seconds).

In a similar vein to the Mortal Kombat franchise, Eternal Champions is a fighting game that was released in 1993, seeing a small half sequel release in 1995, where combos and special moves were in place, but over-the-top violence was one of its, if not the biggest, drawing points. Blood and gore could be seen in a few finishing moves, and although it isn't prominent, it still has some minor shock value. The fighting hasn't aged well, but the roster consists of creative characters who have met death in an unfortunate manner, but get brought back to have a chance to prove they should live and play a role in oncoming history.
